“I have to give Cabana Bay a 5 star rating. The reception staff was wonderful and helpful! The room was clean and the resort itself was full of great amenities. The only issue that I had was the food prep staff did not seem too happy like at Disney World but the food was still good with a good variety. We will definitely be staying at this resort again in the future! I recommend staying here if you need to stay at a Universal Resort and you are on a budget!”

“We booked the Poolside Family Suite Exterior Entry specifically to
"Enjoy convenient outdoor access with an exterior entry to the pool courtyard area."
Great liberties are taken with your description. Convenient access means I open my door and walk straight out to the pool. Not down the outside hall, down stairs or the dirty elevator and then over to the pool. POOL.... oh wait, it was only opened 1 day out of our stay! So if we wanted to use the Cabana Bay pools, we had to walk to the one on the other side of the complex. Definitely not enjoyable or convenient.
Elevator was dirty, we watched a pile of something yellow dry over the course of our trip, never to be wiped up.
Check in could be handled better. We were told we were not eligible for online check in because of how we booked. Considering this could help your lines and stream line your processes it should be available to more people. Consider it part of the hotel and resort fees we prepay before even arriving and spending more inside the hotel.
I will be back to Universal but I will be exploring other hotels next time!”
