The stay at the hotel did it meet my expectations. The building feels aged and small. The room was very spacious which was great but felt aged as well. This hotel would benefit from a touch of modernization.

I mean. I loved the room category I booked. It had an awesome view and overall the room itself was perfect. The breakfast was so yummy. I liked to see a variety of choices and since it is a buffet style it was perfect for myself and my loved ones. The reason behind booking this hotel was the “pool or jacuzzi” advertised. I didn’t like to know that there were not a pool nor a jacuzzi. I felt lied to. Please marketing has to make it clear so travellers avoid confusions. Other than this, the hotel is located in a perfect area, very close to everything.

The best part of this review is the staff. They were all fantastic and this review is no parts geared towards them. This hotel needs alot of updating, the rooms were really outdated and many days i had to use the staff elevator because the guest elevator did not work. Bear in mind, this is the tallest building in Cali so the elevator not working is a big deal. There is no option for any English speaking TV channels and the windows dont open so the room gets really stuffy. The location is right in the middle of a busy intersection and there isn't anywhere really close enough to walk to. The neighborhood was sketchy so i took a cab when if the destination was a 5 minute walk away. Make sure you download a translator app because no one speaks English including the hotel staff.

Vintage. A luxury 80's hotel in all its glory. Freshly repainted but with same vintage spirit. Pros: fun back in time, huge rooms, friendly dressed up staff, huge bed (can squeeze 4 people easily), a terrace bar, some kind of gym. Cons: crowds of outside people queuing and hanging out at the lobby, sloooow vintage lifts, the nooise from outside and the aircon, no swimming pool, no shampoo, location. Decent 3 star breakfast.

Came here as well with great expectations because its supposedly the most famous building in the city. Yet the amount of amenities and service this hotel lacks is crazy !! Our room had spiders, the bed sheets were stained with you know what, even the couch had a weird stain on it which just disgusted me from even using it. The rooms overall arent modern aswell as the hotel. Elevators take forever to work etc. I know this tower was built for the 70s but to be honest, management needs to get level with the other top modern hotels in the city and the world. Its 2022, service needs to be better for tourists from more developed countries to visit. The "Buffet breakfast" isnt even buffet because they serve you and the options are so limited its not even buffet. Its also not American style because very limited american options there, they barely have waffles or pancakes to be called American breakfast ??? Literally Eggs and bread and soup every single day is boring compared to hotels like Sheraton. Overall the service here is well intentioned however the hotel just isnt for modern guests, if you want good service spend the extra $20 a night somewhere else.
